Boasting one of the best bars you’ll find anywhere in East London, this is definitely a spot that will become a new favourite drinking haunt and is really all about the cocktails.

Brunch, served only on the weekends, of course involves the choice of bottomless Grey Goose Bloody Mary’s or Prosecco with live music every Sunday to start the weekend right.
We opted for small plates to start with, including crab on toast with avocado and pickled jalapeños, the shaved mushrooms with pine nuts, cheese and brown butter vinaigrette for a salad. For mains, it was suggested to have ‘family’ plates to share, we ordered a Sunday style lunch of a leg of lamb roasted in the clay oven, designed to serve three people, which is perfect as a family. The dessert menu boosts classic desserts, a must try is the rhubarb tart with Champagne jelly.

Based in a chic townhouse, Cora Pearl is the sister restaurant from the team behind Mayfair famous Kitty Fishers. Serving a variety of hearty comfort food and hand crafted cocktails, it’s a real gem of a find! Upon arrival guests are greeted with attentive staff, complementing the cosy rich surroundings. The sublime culinary experience focuses on seasonal British cuisine, in a boldly flavoured manor. Not only is this bistro like restaurant ideal for a pre-theatre dining experience but also great for a night canoodle! If you get peckish I’d recommend the ham and cheese luxury toast, nicely complimented by pickle. You may think, why would I go out of my way for a sandwich but this delicious treasure is worthy of a try.
Opening in 2017 and located in the heart of Covent Garden, Frog is Adam Handling’s flagship restaurant site. Not only has the Frog been labelled as ‘one of the best restaurants in London, it has also won various prestige awards, from best newcomer restaurant and best overall wine list.
