Welcome a unique addition to Islington’s social scene with the opening of The Dally Member’s Club in London. This new venture aims to create a local haven where members can socialize, network, and relax in an elegant setting.
The Dally is the brainchild of co-founders Caroline Baldwin and Claire Ilardi-Crow. Drawing from their extensive experience in hospitality and consultancy, they envisioned a club that prioritizes inclusivity and community. Located at 181 Upper Street, Islington, The Dally occupies a charming three-story townhouse that combines historical charm with contemporary design.
Baldwin, the club’s CEO, emphasizes that The Dally feels like the stylish home of a close friend. The interiors, crafted by BusbyWebb, feature classic and modern elements, including jewel-toned velvets, intimate lighting, and original artwork. This creates an inviting ambience that transitions seamlessly from day to night, making it a versatile space for all occasions.
Membership at The Dally is competitively priced at £630 annually (or £66 per month) with a one-off joining fee of £250. This grants access to exclusive benefits, including a calendar full of cultural events such as live music, comedy nights, workshops, film screenings, and business seminars.
The Dally Member’s Club London Amenities
The ground floor houses a relaxed lounge and a modern European cuisine restaurant. Executive Chef Jamie Caring, who brings experience from well-known establishments such as Annabel’s and The Groucho Club, crafted a menu that reflects the best international cuisines. Expect a variety of dishes ranging from light bites to hearty mains, all prepared with the utmost attention to detail.
The first floor features The Cocktail Bar, an intimate space perfect for evening drinks, while The Loft on the top floor offers a spacious area for events and gatherings. Additionally, an outdoor terrace provides a cosy spot for al fresco dining and socializing.
The Dally is not just about dining and drinks but is also a hub for cultural enrichment and social engagement. The club’s event schedule fosters community spirit and intellectual stimulation. Members can look forward to various activities, including wellness seminars, art exhibitions, and networking events. These programs aim to connect individuals from diverse backgrounds and industries, encouraging exchanging ideas and fostering meaningful relationships.
This member’s club begins a broader vision for Caroline Baldwin and Claire Ilardi-Crow. They plan to establish more neighbourhood clubs across London, creating localized spaces that support and enrich their communities. Areas such as Dulwich and Wimbledon are already being considered for future locations.
Focusing on inclusivity, community, and quality, The Dally is poised to become a beloved fixture in Islington’s social landscape.
