Maddox Club London Review: Mayfair’s Iconic Late-Night Hideaway

Maddox Club London Review: Mayfair’s Iconic Late-Night Hideaway

Tucked away in Mayfair, Maddox Club in London is one of the city’s most enduring and exclusive nightlife institutions. Opened in 2007 by the late nightlife mogul Fred Moss, Maddox first started as a members-only club for the fashion-forward and music-savvy elite. Nearly two decades later, it remains a top-tier destination for those who know exactly where to go when the city comes alive and the energy peaks. Whether you’re arriving in designer heels or dressed in sharp tailoring, this is a venue where glamour is part of the dress code.

The club hides behind a discreet entrance on Mill Street, just off Regent Street. Once inside, you’re led down to a stylish subterranean playground. The interiors are everything you’d expect from a luxury Mayfair haunt. FInd sleek lines, moody lighting, plush banquettes, and a custom Funktion-One sound system that turns every DJ set into a fully immersive experience. There’s also a fully soundproofed smoking terrace. This is a rare and welcome feature in London’s club scene—which doubles as a social hotspot on busy nights.

Spread over two floors, Maddox boasts multiple rooms catering to different moods. The main room pulses with house and commercial beats, while the Green Room offers a more intimate, lounge-like setting with bottle service and a slightly slower pace. For VIPs, there are two private areas and a team that ensures every detail is perfect—from premium bottle service to customised mixology.

Maddox stands out for its stylish interiors and its music programming. The club regularly hosts internationally renowned DJS and curated nights that blend fashion, music, and culture. You’re just as likely to spot a well-known artist dropping a surprise set as you are to find yourself on the dancefloor with models, creatives, and Mayfair’s inner circle.

Maddox isn’t just a club—it’s a lifestyle choice. Entry is limited, and even guests must be on the list or invited by a member. But once you’re in, the experience is seamless, electric, and luxurious.
