Capital A List – London club news – 30th March 2012
We reckon we have found the cause of London’s hot weather this week! American TV hunk Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl) was papped at Mahiki last week after promoting his new chick flick ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’ in London’s Leicester Square. Chace hadn’t spent the night alone however, as he emerged from the club in the early hours with not one, but FOUR female companions he met that night. The two blondes and two brunettes piled into Chace’s taxi as they were supposedly whisked away to the Gossip Girl star’s hotel room.
The night out came out after Chace had admitted he was finding his single status tough, admitting: ‘It is tough. You get a bit wary. I’m not really coming home crying every night but it makes it a little bit trickier to trust. Maybe I’ll resort back to Texas… or maybe an English girl.’ The girls over at Capital A-list live in hope!

Katy Perry was caught following the lead of bezzie mate Rihanna by hosting a karaoke party at Mahiki’s VIP No-Tell Motel room last week. The Las Vegas themed party paradise, usually reserved for the likes of Prince Harry, was the centre of attention as the California Girl drowned away her post-divorce sorrows with a 30 strong entourage. The fun came to an abrupt halt however, as one of Perry’s posse caught wind of a rumour that estranged hubby Russell Brand was on his way to the same club!
A source reveals: “She wanted to spend the night singing in the room as it’s where best mate Rihanna normally comes to play when she is in town. Katy was having a great night at Mahiki but bolted out the door when one of her sidekicks stunned her by telling her Russ was about to turn up. Rather than risk an awkward run-in, Katy didn’t take any chances and ordered everyone to move on to a club in Chelsea instead”

After a scandalous week of sex tapes and break ups, Jalouse favourite Tulisa ditched the detox, held her head up high, and showcased her new beau: 21 year old Skins bad boy Jack O’Connell at Mayfair’s Aura. The pair are rumoured to have had their first date at the, er, ‘romantic’ spot, where Jack was papped trying (and failing) to protect Tulisa from the awaiting cameras.
The revelation surfaced after Tulisa admitted she was ‘seeing someone’, after she and TOWIE’s Mark Wright were seen partying together at the same night spot. Tulisa was quick to put those rumours to sleep and show us her mystery lad. Now, did we hear somebody say ‘cradle snatcher’…?

It’s not everyday you see a robot killer and a former member of the Royal family in the same room! The Arts Club played host to an interesting sight last week as body builder, turned actor, turned politician, Arnold Schwarzenegger was spotted partying at the same club as none other than Royal reject Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson. – Although we are unsure exactly why the terminator is in London?
It all looked like good fun for Arnie as fans clambered to get a snap shot of the iron man himself. But we can’t help but think that it may have been a little extreme sending in the Terminator to keep Fergie away from Buckingham Palace… Either way it seemed to work as ‘Fergie’ made a sharp exit almost as soon as Arnie had arrived!

Last week proved to be its most star studded for Capital A List! We kicked things off on Thursday at Jalouse where global megastars LMFAO and Far East Movement both performed for one of the biggest crowds we’ve had yet. The atmosphere exploded as LMFAO performed and DJ’d a truly epic set just inches away from our table!
Saturday saw N.E.R.D blow the roof off our new haunt, Chinawhite. Again, we’d managed to bag the best seat in the house as we partied directly in front the boys as they played a belter of a set that saw us dancing to their biggest hits and some old school surprises. We couldn’t have asked for a better party to kick off Chinawhite Saturday’s.
Still can’t decide if you should join our guestlist?
