Elsewhere in Mayfair, boyband member Jay was left feeling a tad embarrassed after The Rose club refused him free entry to his friends Rochelle and Una from The Saturdays’ joint hen party! The doormen clearly weren’t impressed by Jay’s pop credentials, despite The Wanted’s recent success in both the UK and USA, and he received no special treatment.Maybe next time he’ll remember to get himself on the guestlist!
The hen party itself was no doubt a riotous occasion, with the brides-to-be in neon dresses accessorized with feather boas and veils and party goers donning cut out masks of Rochelle’s future husband Marvin from JLS.

Two fifths of girl band The Saturdays spent a celebratory evening in Mahiki this week after their newest single, 30 Days, entered the top ten of the UK charts. Mollie and Vanessa were looking gorgeous and dressed appropriately for London’s recent heat wave, with Vanessa rocking a matching bright yellow bird print ensemble whilst Mollie opted for a blue and yellow floral blazer with white crochet shorts. They both completed their outfits with tan leather heels.
The missing Saturdays must have been too busy to party, as yummy mummy Una has her new baby girl, Frankie is happily coupled up and bride-to-be Rochelle is planning her dream wedding!

Doing nothing to dispel the wild child image, hard partying Rihanna ended up missing her morning flight after a raucous birthday party at DSTRKT! The bash was held in honour of Jay-Z’s manager Tyran Smith and was also attended by the likes of Kanye and Kim, Stella McCartney, Chris Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow. Rumours abound that Kim ordered Kanye to leave the party early after he spent too much time socialising with the other party goers, especially fellow fashion designer McCartney.
Jay-Z’s newest protégé Rita Ora, who has been dubbed Britain’s answer to Rihanna, came face to face with her supposed rival but suprisingly there were more kisses than claws out! Rihanna took a picture of herself planting a smooch on Rita’s cheek, tweeting it with the jokey caption, “@rihanna hatin a$$ biatch!!!! Mwah!!!!!!”

Whisky Mist in Mayfair hosted the celeb-studded ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ premiere after party last week, which saw 39 year old good time gal Cameron Diaz end up looking a little worse for wear! Earlier in the evening she had appeared at the premiere alongside Cheryl Cole, looking relaxed and composed in a simple white jumpsuit.
By the time it got to 3 am, although her hair was looking somewhat bedraggled as a minder bundled her into an awaiting taxi, by some kind of miracle she had managed to avoid spilling a drop of drink down her sexy outfit! ‘Attagirl Cam! Joining her at the party – and no doubt on the dance floor – was co-star Matthew Morrison, better known as ‘Mr. Shcuester’ from Glee.

Amongst all the ‘Watch the Throne’ excitement last week, a little drama allegedly played out at Movida. Rob Kardashian was hanging out with sister Kourtney’s long term boyfriend Scott Disick in the VIP section, surrounded by adoring fans, when US R’n’B star Trey Songz arrived with his entourage. According to reports, Trey demanded that he was to have the VIP section for himself, and had Rob and Scott moved. Not ones to mingle with the non-VIPs, the boys left the club completely.
A source said “He’s just shown up with his crew, taken over the Kardashian table, and ran Rob and Scott out of the club. He wasn’t even invited,” However, a spokesperson for the Bottoms Up singer denies the claims. Come on Trey, share and share alike!
