If you fancy a slice of the New York nightlife without crossing the Atlantic then the only place you should be heading is to the Upper West guestlist. Reborn on the ashes of Kings Members’ Club on the Kings Road, Chelsea, the club had quite the reputation to follow and judging by the packed dance floor they have achieved exactly this!
On entering do not be put off by the understated décor, once you are led down to the main dance floor you will fully appreciate the Manhattan style sophistication reflected in the full length bronze mirrors panelling the walls. It’s worth exploring the upstairs bar and lounge with its chic and luxurious vibe where there is a more relaxed atmosphere, in which you can mingle with fellow club goers and here at the lounge bar you will be able to sample the signature cocktails prepared by the mixologists. The much awaited roof garden will be open in time for Spring and you can expect breathtaking views of the London roofs and ever famous Kings Road on the Upper West guestlist.
As far as Upper West’s clientele goes it really does attract the upper class, including the best of the public school boys and girls and the ubiquitous cast of ‘Made In Chelsea’. You can understand then that to be able to mix with this crowd you need to look like this crowd so dress more ‘Tatler’ than ‘Heat’ magazine.
Destined to become a favourite celebrity spot, get associated with the Upper West guestlist early so you will be first in line to be a part of this exclusive scene.
