Carnaby Street, famous for its nightlife and musical heritage, welcomes a new addition to its lineup: The Little Violet Door bar in London. This latest venture from Little Door & Co. promises to bring an authentic house party atmosphere to the city. It blends eclectic design with entertainment and unique culinary offerings.
Located at 9 Kingly Street, The Little Violet Door occupies the historic site of the 1960s music venue Bag O’Nails. Legends like Elton John and Paul McCartney once frequented the place. The venue captures the essence of an ideal house party. It features a kitchen disco, late-night cocktails, and various themed rooms. Each area within The Little Violet Door is crafted to evoke a sense of nostalgia and warmth. The place has vibrant 80s design elements and nods to the music and fashion scenes of the 60s and 70s.
The venue is spread over two floors, with the ground floor housing a relaxed sitting room and a vinyl bar. The basement is designed with parties in mind, featuring a lively kitchen disco where DJs spin tracks from a turntable kitchen island from Wednesday to Saturday. The decor includes colourful prints, bookcases, and records, creating a lived-in feel.
