Celebrating its second anniversary, SALON64, famous for its cutting-edge hair services, unveils its most ambitious venture yet. CLUB64 is a member’s club in London that redefines luxury and exclusivity in the modern age.
During the day, SALON64 is a beacon of beauty and excellence. By night, the space transforms into CLUB64, a speakeasy-style social hub. This duality of purpose is a brainchild of founder Ricky Walters, who has reimagined the traditional salon concept into a dynamic venue.
The interior of CLUB64 celebrates the rich history of French hair salons, with a design that dates back to 1664. A warm fire pit runs through marble worktops downstairs. Members also have exclusive access to private rooms and the club’s garden terrace.
The club prides itself on serving only the finest French and English bubbles alongside a well-crafted drinks menu. Expert mixologists are at hand, shaking up classic cocktails and signature creations like the “Liquid Gold” cocktail. Each drink, like the ‘short, back and sides’ and ‘The Bob’, is a nod to the salon’s heritage, with ingredients like Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur adding a sweet, moreish quality.
The exclusivity of CLUB64 is maintained through high-tech security measures, including a hidden facial recognition camera. This is a place where London’s elite gather to escape the ordinary, surrounded by the luxury of Soho’s most exclusive private members club. As you step behind its concealed doors, you’re not just entering a club but into a world where elegance, privacy, and top-notch service are the norm.

With its doors open on March 7, 2023, the Shoreditch Arts Club is a member’s club in London that houses the iconic 1930s Tea Building on Redchurch Street. Envisioned as the curiosity-stirring home of an art collector, the club is a fusion of diverse art forms. Its revolving program features performances, moving image commissions, and installations, creating a dynamic and ever-evolving artistic experience.
The space, occupying 500 sq m, pays homage to the building’s warehouse origins while transforming it into a modern cultural hub. The club’s location in Shoreditch, an area with a fertile cultural heritage, surrounded by independent galleries and institutions like the Barbican Centre and Whitechapel Gallery, makes it an ideal setting for this artistic venture.
Under the leadership of Joel Williams, former CEO of the Conduit Club, and Ché Zara Blomfield, known for her extensive curatorial work across Europe, the club has become a centre for stimulating conversations and artistic exploration.
The club features a restaurant, café, bar, open dining spaces, and various working and lounge areas. The deal includes private dining and meeting rooms, a 24-seat cinema, and an event program. The culinary offerings, led by in-house chef Mattia Luminelli, focus on locally sourced, seasonal menus emphasising vegetarian and vegan options. Award-winning mixologist Walter Pintus oversees the drinks menu.
The heart of the club’s artistic journey is its double-height lobby, with a rotating array of installations, exhibitions, and events. The first floor adds another dimension with its three projection walls dedicated to moving image art. The inaugural commission by Peter Spanjer, a German-born, London-based artist, sets the tone for the club.
Collaborations with organisations like Girls in Film and artists including Christine Sun Kim, Joey Holder, and Ed Fornieles promise a rich and varied artistic program.
