During the day, SALON64 is a beacon of beauty and excellence. By night, the space transforms into CLUB64, a speakeasy-style social hub. This duality of purpose is a brainchild of founder Ricky Walters, who has reimagined the traditional salon concept into a dynamic venue.
The interior of CLUB64 celebrates the rich history of French hair salons, with a design that dates back to 1664. A warm fire pit runs through marble worktops downstairs. Members also have exclusive access to private rooms and the club’s garden terrace.
The club prides itself on serving only the finest French and English bubbles alongside a well-crafted drinks menu. Expert mixologists are at hand, shaking up classic cocktails and signature creations like the “Liquid Gold” cocktail. Each drink, like the ‘short, back and sides’ and ‘The Bob’, is a nod to the salon’s heritage, with ingredients like Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur adding a sweet, moreish quality.
