Home House was established in the 18th century by James Wyatt aimed as a sophisticated place for enjoyment and entertainment. The venue hosts multiple restaurants, bars, a garden, bedrooms, a boardroom and a gym, steam room and sauna on the lower floor. Home House also holds many member events throughout the year.
This private members club is renowned as being a predominantly social club and doesn’t cater to people from specific industries or classes. For business owners and entrepreneurs their sister members club Home Grown is most appropriate and only a few minutes walk away.
The food options are numerous, with The Restaurant offering a modern European menu while The Drawing Rooms serve light suppers and lounge-style food. The Drawing Rooms also serve breakfasts including everything from omelettes to full English breakfast.
The exclusive member events held at Home House are one of the aspects of the club for which it is most well known. These are held in the garden or the large rooms specially designated for events. In the past Home House has held summer parties, Havana parties, cricket socials and various others. There is also the ability to hire out events rooms for private events such as weddings, press launches and business meetings.
Home House offers a range of membership options to suit all requirements. The full individual membership for over 35s and a lower priced one for under 35s. Additionally there is a social membership (roughly half the price of the full membership) which allows access to the venue all weekend and after 6pm on weekdays. To become a member the best way is to get recommended by a current member after which you will get a tour of the club before being welcomed as a new member should your application be approved.

The rub is that you must be a member to even order a starter, and it catered for the Olympics, US presidents and some of the most powerful people […]
