Unlike Usain and company, not all olympic athletes have been carrying themselves quite so well on nights out in the capital. If getting completely off your face was an Olympic sport, 20 year old Belgian cyclist Gijs van Hoecke would be taking home the gold medal!
After a raucous night with pals in Mahiki, van Hoeke was bundled into a taxi back to the Olympic Park, complete with mystery wet patch on his trousers. What did the poor guy drink, a whole Treasure Chest cocktail to himself?! Unimpressed with their Olympic export, the Belgian Cycling Federation ordered him onto a plane home as soon as these photos surfaced, but he told the press, “I’m happy my parents didn’t tell me off.”
