Located on a site with Roman remains, Château d’Astros was founded in the 13th century by Templar Knights who established a farmhouse on this fertile plain. Today, Bruno Maurel, a member of the 8th generation, manages the family estate alongside his nephews and nieces.
2021 marks a pivotal year as Château d’Astros embarks on its journey toward organic farming, reflecting the family’s deep commitment to their land and passion for sharing it with the world.
