Coya member’s lounge in London is part of the exceptional and famous Coya. It is an extension of the Coya in Jumeirah, Dubai, which has had a successful member’s space for those who have special consideration for the brand. This restaurant and Bar is the latest brainchild of renowned restaurateur Arjun Waney. Known for his successful ventures like Zuma, La Petite Maison, and The Arts Club, Waney’s Coya brings the vibrant essence of Latin America to London, with a particular emphasis on the rich flavours and traditions of Peruvian cuisine.
Located at the Park Lane end of Piccadilly, guests enter this exquisite venue and are greeted by a private members’ lounge on the ground floor. This elegant space combines the building’s original features with a sense of faded grandeur. The conceptual approach to the design sets the tone for an exclusive and culturally immersive experience.
Descending the main staircase, visitors are welcomed into the heart of Coya – the main restaurant and bar in the basement. The interior design blends timber, terracotta, brass, and metalwork, complemented by silver leaf walls in a distressed finish. The place uses a natural palette punctuated with bright ethnic colours and cushions made from local Peruvian materials. A newly installed large skylight bathes the rear robata and ceviche bar areas in natural daylight.
Head Chef Sanjay Dwivedi leads the culinary team, bringing experience from prestigious kitchens like Zaika, Le Caprice, and The Ivy. His menu is a modern interpretation of traditional Peruvian cuisine, infused with the knowledge and skills he honed in Lima.
Coya’s distinction as London’s first Peruvian restaurant with a private members’ bar adds to its allure. The ground floor member’s lounge bar is a bespoke space that leads down to the main restaurant and bar in the basement.

He’s not the type to humble brag with his hand earnestly resting on his chest, telling you ‘how grateful and humbled’ he is in that way that makes you cringe. No, […]

When one utters “Darling… I’m just popping in for a spot of lunch at a luxurious dining restaurant in Belgravia that catered to both Harry and William’s wedding; it has John Major, John Cleese and a long list of actors, writers, and politicians as regulars too. The rub is that you must be a member to even order a starter, and it catered for the Olympics, US presidents and some of the most powerful people […]
