Dedicated blogger and every Hollywood starlet’s worst nightmare, Perez Hilton, was in town to see Madonna perform in Hyde Park, afterwards moving on to Mahiki to host his very own afterparty! After enjoying a bit of dancing and plenty of signature cocktails, Hilton declared his love for London on twitter, writing “I wanna move to? #London?! It is honestly the best city on the planet!!!” We agree!
Also at Mahiki that evening were Tom and Jay from The Wanted, who looked a little worse for wear and they left the club, their friend and driver both looking a little apprehensive as Jay was bundled into the back of their taxi. We know what they were worrying about…it begins with ‘vom’ and ends with ‘it’.

Wednesday night saw whiskey makers Johnnie Walker hold their Gold Reserve launch party at (where else?!) Whisky Mist. The call of a swanky party with plenty of free booze proved a powerful lure and plenty of ‘slebs came out to play.
Mischa Barton was looking gothic with her pale face and floor length black dress, and Made in Chelsea’s Richard Dinan was also doing his best vampire impression, though his look was more Twilight than Dracula in a casual hoodie. Even the usually colourful Henry Holland opted for an all-black ensemble. At least one colourful character showed up…who else would be DJing at a Gold Reserve party but Goldie!

Forget Perez’s Mahiki bash – it seems like the only place to be after Madonna’s Hyde Park show was…Madonna’s! The singer held a raucous party at her Mayfair home, but a tattle-tale neighbour rang after midnight to lodge an official complaint about the noise levels.
Police officers were sent over to see what all the fuss was about and an obliging Madge turned the music down at around 2.15 am. One friend who wasn’t at the party was Kylie, who had invited Madonna to hang out with her and Kate Moss before the show but was turned down in favour of a yoga sesh. Having friends…or being able to get your legs behind your head? Prioritizing is one art Her Madgesty hasn’t quite mastered yet!

The ladies of London were out in force for the UK premiere of male stripper movie Magic Mike this week, and who could blame them when Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and young British star Alex Pettyfer were all in attendance (albeit with their beautiful girlfriends)?
The female cast of Towie got in on the action, dressing up to the nines for their walk on the red carpet. After the movie, a giggly Cara Kilbey and Billie Mucklow moved on to Aura Mayfair where Cara struggled to preserve her modesty in a revealing cutaway dress, whilst Billie though it would be funny to flash poor Cara’s bum to the paps!

After wowing the crowds at Hyde Park’s Wireless Festival last weekend with her upbeat performance, the radiant Rita Ora headed out into the rainy night to DSTRKT for Radio 1’s after party. For the occasion she wore an eye-wateringly tight PVC dress with transparent inserts which was as weather appropriate as it was revealing of the singer’s…assets!
It was quite a change from her more comfy, 90’s inspired stage outfit of cropped t-shirt and camo combat trousers, but she kept her feet warm and dry at the club by eschewing high heels for high tops. Sensible girl!
