This summer, JKS Restaurants, the group behind popular London eateries like Gymkhana and Hoppers, will unveil their latest venture: Ambassadors Clubhouse restaurant in London. Located at 25 Heddon Street in Mayfair, this new Punjabi venue promises to celebrate the rich culinary and cultural heritage of Punjab.
Ambassadors Clubhouse is named in honour of the Sethi siblings’ maternal grandfather, a former Indian ambassador. The restaurant draws inspiration from his summer house in Dalhousie, blending elements of traditional Punjabi architecture with contemporary design. The venue traverses two floors and features a 140-cover dining area, a heated outdoor verandah, and three private dining rooms: The Raja Rani Room, The Jungli Room, and The Tamasha Room.
The interior, designed by North End Design, reflects a blend of classic Indian patterns and modern prints. The dining room centers around a maximalist bar with a striking gold dome, surrounded by booth seating and counter dining options. The lower ground floor transforms into an energetic space with a DJ booth, perfect for late-night gatherings and parties.
The eclectic decor pays homage to Punjabi culture, creating an inviting and festive atmosphere.
Ambassadors Clubhouse Restaurant London Menu
The menu at Ambassadors Clubhouse celebrates the diverse and flavorful cuisine of Punjab. It showcases classic and rare regional recipes crafted to provide an authentic dining experience. Highlights include the Paan Patta Chaat, a fresh dish combining the flavours of betel leaves with tangy chutneys and spices. Taste also Mooli and Dahi Kebabs, made with radish and yoghurt, and Nalli Chapli Kebab, a traditional minced meat kebab enriched with spices and herbs.
The Karahi Saufiyan Langoustines are cooked in a spicy fennel-flavored sauce and served in a traditional karahi. Punjabi Atta Chicken comes marinated in whole wheat flour and spices, then roasted to perfection. Haryali Rara Rabbit Keema is a green herb-infused rabbit mince with robust flavours.
You can already get an idea of the rich blend of flavours and textures that await you.
The drinks menu is equally impressive, featuring a range of tequila—and mezcal-based cocktails. The Punjabi Margarita stands out, combining North Indian fruits and citrus with chaat masala spiced salts. The Patiala Peg, made with Johnnie Walker Gold, offers a larger celebratory serve for those looking to indulge.
With its focus on Punjabi traditions, exceptional menu, and elegant ambience, Ambassadors Clubhouse will become a standout addition to Mayfair’s dining scene. As JKS Restaurants continues to expand its impressive portfolio, this restaurant will likely become a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and those looking to explore the rich flavours and heritage of Punjabi cuisine.
