Since 2014, Mayfair’s GymKhana has held a Michelin star for its excellent contemporary Indian Cuisine. In June of last year the restaurant suffered a large fire, which took hold of the entire venue, causing it to close. However, GymKhana has recently reopened in February of this year, bringing their exceptional Indian Cuisine back to Mayfair.
GymKhana Restaurant London is set across two floors, the Ground Floor remains a similar design to how it was prior to the fire, furnished with Brown-tones and dimmed lighting, however the lower ground floor has been redesigned, including both Gas and Charcoal Tandoors ensuring the flavours of their dishes are truly enhanced. Head Chef Jitin Joshi has devised a delicious menu, showcasing his culinary talents through delicious courses whether that be their Kebabs, Tikka’s, Curries or Biryani’s. Our favourite dish from GymKhana’s menu was their ‘Lasooni Wild Tiger Prawns and Red Pepper Chutney, which we paired with Basmati Rice, both the flavours and the restaurants ambience complimented each other perfectly, leaving us only wanting to try more!
GymKhana has a Bar, which presents guests with their signature cocktails. Their ‘off-menu’ signature Cocktail ‘Quinine Sour’, was certainly a Cocktail like no other I have had before, this special addition adds that little something extra to GymKhana! Open until 1am, The GymKhana Bar specialises in creating new drinks for guests to try. Their specialised Gin List can be partnered with their in-house GymKhana Tonic, giving guests a new, exciting, unique flavours only to be found at GymKhana.
For a beautiful venue, serving the finest Indian Cuisine, Gymkhana restaurant London is certainly the restaurant to visit.

He’s not the type to humble brag with his hand earnestly resting on his chest, telling you ‘how grateful and humbled’ he is in that way that makes you cringe. No, […]

Mosimann’s – A Look Inside London’s Famous Members Restaurant
When one utters “Darling… I’m just popping in for a spot of lunch at a luxurious dining restaurant in Belgravia that catered to both Harry and William’s wedding; it has John Major, John Cleese and a long list of actors, writers, and politicians as regulars too. The rub is that you must be a member to even order a starter, and it catered for the Olympics, US presidents and some of the most powerful people […]
