Newly opened, 1771 restaurant in London by Chef Mark Jarvis’, located in Chelsea, is a contemporary British restaurant that involves creative cooking using locally sourced produce. Expect a sacramento green colour that brings a new vibe and feel to the restaurant, then take a walk downstairs to the bar that showcases the ‘Pop Art’ artwork.

The chef has created a full tasting menu and a sample menu, using locally sourced produce, with a carefully curated wine that pairs so perfectly with the menus and of course, a cocktail list.

The Tasting Menu at 1771 starts with a delicious 1771 focaccia served with cultured butter, brown crab tart, Bonnington Lynn and aged chalk stream trout with potato souffle and a hint of coriander to tickle the palate. The tasting menu serves two desserts; caramelised sourdough parfait and a classic apple cake served alongside an unusual pairing of parsley root ice cream.

The Sample Menu at 1771 starts off with the chefs very popular signature cheese and onion malt loaf. The sharing menu starts off with dishes including a British local favourite of a wood-fired jacket potato with cultured cream and caviar, next up are the scallops barbecued in their shells served with seaweed butter and a whole truffle-roasted chicken. If you remember Liv, this is the same space that 1771 has taken over from, just more refined and creative with only using local seasonal produce.

Assem Abdel Hady and Andres Bernal bring London Stock restaurant to South London, an elegant, relaxed, modern British fine dining meets state-of-the-art Asian cooking techniques, all with a seasonal 8-course tasting menu created by Head Chef Sebastian Rast. The interiors are all modern but the building aesthetic is softened with the addition of leafy corners and velvet decors.

The kitchen team, all have very impressive experience working in a variety of Michelin-starred restaurants such as HIDE and Schwitzer’s Hotel am Park. Thus be prepared for a gastronomy experience.

The menu has been carefully created to incorporate locally sourced British ingredients with a modern twist creating a spectacular range of food options to choose from. Dine in the main restaurant where a sample menu will be presented to you, that changes to what is locally available, includes highlights such as Stone Bass Fennel salad, hazelnut and smoked gazpacho and Roast Cod with Pickled mussels and ginger broth. The dessert menu is full of surprises, expect a yorkshire rhubarb sorbet with an unexpected crunch of pumpkin seeds and hazelnut crumb, this dessert is so unique and beautifully presented.

Lunch consists of a tasting menu served from 12-1:30pm and the set menu from 12-2:30pm, join on Sundays for a lovely Sunday Roast from 12-3:30pm and go for dinner to enjoy the tasting menu only 6 – 8pm.

Its not just about the food at London Stock, the cocktail menu showcases some unusual twists on the classics and make for a great aperitif after work or to simply enjoy before your dinner. Of course, an impressive wine list has been sourced and wine can be ordered by the glass. Expect the wine menu to paired perfectly with the tasting menu and Sunday Roast.

The impressive team of chefs love to add an element of surprise to each dish and to still showcase the best in British produce, with an Asian influence of flavours. The team have a goal to make fine dining more accessible to showoff their talents.

The server recommended ‘Wasabi King Prawn Dumplings’ and the ‘Tortelli Al Vapore’ – a different type of Italian Tortellini. The cocktails couldn’t be any better, a top seller is the ‘Wang Zhaojun’ made with Violet liquer, jasmine tea, Haymans London gin and Finlandia vodka, is described as ‘so beautiful that birds fall from heavan’. 

The venue also features a private room with cocktail bar downstairs that is more than a match for a party, dinner, or any corporate functions. Courtesan’s two cocktails bars are now open late-night at the weekends, featuring live music, resident DJ’s and cabaret ‘till 2am. No wonder this is one of the best restaurants with a DJ in London.

One of our absolute favourite experiences is cakes and bubbles, open Monday to Sunday from 12pm until 10pm, offers probably the most amazing line up of extraordinary desserts ans fancy pastries. And yes this is served alongside a wide selection of Champagne and sparkling wines. If you don’t have a sweet tooth, this experience also caters for a savoury ‘all day dining’ menu for lunch and dinner reservations.

Enjoy live music at the Green Bar while Soho Live Studios Band will perform weekly every Friday & Saturday 18.30pm – 22.00pm. Most Saturdays also include a live resident DJ to enjoy your Saturday.

Hovarda - best restaurant with DJ in London

Expect traditional Greek flavours, a range of fresh fish and grilled meat dishes. We highly recommend ordering the Greek salad to share, mains include the classic Kleftiko, slow roasted lamb with sauteed king oyster mushrooms and get ready to be transported to Greece and Turkey. The Chef changes the menu daily based on seasonal produce and determined by what the day boats catch each day from around the British Isles.

After dinner head to the lounge bar where you will be invited by renowned DJ’s and artists. An extensive cocktail menu awaits at the bar, the mixologist recommended the ‘Bumblebee’, made of Patron Silver, lime juice, orange juice, maple syrup and cinnamon.

Sea Containers

The Sea Containers London is a dining experience with fabulous views across the river Thames while live entertainment plays on Sundays. We definitely enjoyed a glass of champagne and a lovely meal on the Laurent-Perrier Summer Terrace.

Sea Containers Restaurant is conveniently located with just a short 10 minute walk from the Waterloo station. Designed by visionary Tom Dixon, Sea Containers has been a London landmark. The recent developments have boosted the restaurant to have a cruise-ship sized dining room, casually decorated with a yellow submarine above the bar.

The menu is designed to be shared while celebrating and enhancing the seasonal produce. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, the a la carte menu offers a variety of small plates, sharing dishes and classic comfort food. Brunch, served only on the weekends, of course involves the choice of bottomless Grey Goose Bloody Mary’s or Prosecco with live music every Sunday to start the weekend right.

We opted for small plates to start with, including crab on toast with avocado and pickled jalapeños, the shaved mushrooms with pine nuts, cheese and brown butter vinaigrette for a salad. For mains, it was suggested to have ‘family’ plates to share, we ordered a Sunday style lunch of a leg of lamb roasted in the clay oven, designed to serve three people, which is perfect as a family. The dessert menu boosts classic desserts, a must try is the rhubarb tart with Champagne jelly.

MNKY HSE

MNKY HSE (Monkey House) is the one-stop party palace, that is one of the best restaurants with a DJ in London, is a contemporary Latin American restaurant and bar hidden behind a discreet entrance at 10 Dover Street.

Of course we didn’t expect anything less than a huge spirits list with plenty of pisco, rum, and Tequila of course.

To get your night started, our award winning mixologists will shake up your evening with a selection of unique and classic cocktails. MNKY HSE has established itself as the place in London to ‘eat, drink and party’; with its mix of Latin American cuisine and Late night DJ sets from DJ Kaveh on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Not only has the Frog been labelled as ‘one of the best restaurants in London, it has also won various prestige awards, from best newcomer restaurant and best overall wine list. With a contemporary interior, yet having a relaxed and luxurious feel as Adam once said; ‘Frog can provide fine dining without having a stuffy atmosphere.’ Not only is there an open-kitchen and dining space, the venue also contains a private dining room too, fulfilled with its own kitchen and bespoke furniture. Very much ideal for a deliciously polished regional menu in a stunning atmosphere.

Cin Cin Fitzrovia, restaurant in London, is a popular casual Italian restaurant in Fitzrovia. Home to a hub of restaurants including Argentine steakhouse Gaucho and Monica Galetti’s Mere.

Cin Cin started back in 2013 when then lawyer David Toscano, born in Sydney, Australia to Italian parents who immigrated to Australia in the 1960’s. David was lucky to grow up surrounded by beautiful Italian food cooked by his Italian family.

David began catering for friends and family in 2013, David started showing off his cooking skills by whipping up his famous arancini, cured meats, crostini and of course, handmade pasta that was such a big part of his upbringing and contribution to the restaurant being one of the top Italian London dining spots.

Cin Cin Fitzrovia, restaurant in London, is one of London’s best restaurants for Italian obsessed Londoners looking for truly prepared Italian cusine.

By 2017, the restaurant was ranked as sixth in the Top 20 Brighton Best Restaurant Awards, with David also winning Best Welcome. Since then, Cin Cin was reviewed by the Waitrose Good Food Guide, BBC Good Food Magazine, and The Guardian.

A few years after Cin Cin’s two restaurants opened up, the founders brought their Italian fresh pasta and sharing plates to the heart of London, namely in Fitzrovia.

Cin Cin Fitzrovia is described as an intimate dining space, having room for 20 guests, with outside seating perfect for al fresco dining for a further 20 guests that can dine on the alfresco terrace when the warmer weather allows.

You will have to visit Cin Cin as the menu is not online or listed on there website, but we can tell you to expect at the Fitzrovia restaurant, a short a la carte and a five-course set Italian dinner. Just perfect.

The menu changes with the seasons and makes tribute to all the seasonal local offerings. You can expect to find classic Italian dishes with some modern dishes from top quality ingredients to maximise on flavour.

To start your Italian dining experience, tuck into some classics with a modern touch of toasted almond and preserved lemon, or creamy burrata with charred baby leeks.

Traditionally, move on to main courses such as involtini with spring cabbage and brown butter sauce. We of course recommend to indulge in the dessert menu and were recommended the ‘rhubarb zuppa inglese’ (an Italian dessert that can be compared to the classic British trifle, layering custard and slices of sponge cake).

Enjoy your meal with all the Italian branded drinks, including Aperol Spritz and lemonades.
